My biggest memory of blockbuster was returning two ps1 games 2 days late and the fee being like $23 which was basically my entire 12 year old piggy bank at the time. Fuck that.

Also riding my bike 3 miles to rent Gex 3 and getting home and realizing they gave me the awful 2d original Gex and having to ride all the way back as the sun was coming down.

I was a kid in the 80s/90s and I have no fond memories of renting games.

Instead of renting I just bought them for $10 or so at the used game/stolen car stereo store in my city.

depended on where you live. Some BB's had games as 3 days only. This was in the early 90s though when many publishers were still trying to find ways to stop rentals from happening because they feared it would kill the industry.
