This game is great! I am loving every moment of it and the pacing is really good. Very ahead of its time. I loved Link's Awakening and this really does capture a similar feeling.
Did they ever finish that coloration DX hack? I can only imagine color would make this game perfect.

A very charming game that understands and embraces the limitations of its hardware. Definitely one of the best titles on the system and worth checking out for everybody. The music is fantastic!

Seems like it. I only wish it had released internationally so that I could have played it on my gameboy when I was just a kid!

>Very ahead of its time
It's a top-down point'n'click adventure. Very much a product of its time.

Its mechanics are pretty advanced and it's just as much a platformer. Even just being able to ledge grab from a jump was pretty novel in the original GB.

It's more like the Mad Scientist from Wario Land and Dr Mario 64 is from this game, but yeah you're right essentially.
