When seeing Einhänder mentioned quite a bit I really wonder what happened to the developers Square No. 5 Development Division. I know they were also responsible for Brave Fencer Musashi, Parasite Eve 2 and also some parts of Parasite Eve 1. IMHO this was the most interesting development division of Squaresoft, since they weren't just doing all this JRPG stuff.

I also loved their Wrestling series "All Star Pro-Wrestling" especially the last one ASPW3. This was by far the best looking PS2 Wrestling game and also had better animations than the most recent games of the genre. But when this one came out they already were renamed to Square Enix No 5 Development Division.

But I haven't heard from this Squaresoft Division since than. I wonder what they are up to now or if they even exist anymore. But seeing the state of Square Enix, I suspect they're forced to make those shitty mobile games now.

The Mobile versions of FF4-6 could have been good if they just didn't muck up the sprite work. Romancing SaGa 2 did a mix of sprites and HD Backgrounds that worked well enough (This may have been why they styled Octopath like this), I disliked the spell effects still being ripped from the SNES. They could keep the character sprites but have redid the spell effects.

If you are going to do a remake, do not make the characters look like shitty blobs that would be akin to an emulation filter.
