Anyway, I just started this game for the first time. What the fuck is up with the inventory? I finished the Akropolis building and went back to hq, and maybe I am retarded but it seems like my inventory is different. I think I have different armor and am maybe missing a machine gun I found. Then I talk to Pierce in the garage and he says something about going to the firearms dept, so I go there and buy a rifle and go back, and then when I talk to him again he lets me go to the next mission. But I don't seem to see my new rifle in my inventory.

Also I am starting to run low on ammo pretty quickly, and I don't know how to switch weapons or use items mid-battle.

It feels very different from the first game, and I don't just mean the battle system. Somehow the enemies and level design feel very different than the first game. It feels more like horror, and I'm enjoying it more.

You have a total of 20 inventory slots, and every armor has a different number of slots that you can put things to use during battles.

And I envy you, PE2 is one of my favorite games ever, so much for you to find. Enjoy your first playthrough. This game is unique in its blend of horror and action/rpg.

There is a stash with infinite free 9mm besides your car. Not good but can get the work done. And you don`t need to keep ammo in your armor inventory, you can keep in regular. You`ll reload automatically with the same ammo when you use all your bullets

Nice game. Though dont expect to play it just once, the game has many branches due to choices and gameplay styles so if you want to get the most of it think of at least 2 more playthroughs after your finish. Second playthrough is much better since the challenge increase due to optional late game enemies as early as the tower.

Enjoy, and do yourself a favour, play all the harder difficulty settings once you beat the game.

You genuinely haven't played PE2 if you haven't played the other difficulties.

Is it necessary to play Parasite Eve 1 before 2? PE1 wasn't released in the PAL region so I don't have any way to play it legit while we did get PE2.

Do you mean plotwise? Not REALLY. Besides the main character, it has a totally new cast. They mention old characters a few times, but it's not really pertinent to this game. I haven't finished the game yet though, I should be near the end.

I played PE2 first and loved the game. Since I am from a third world amazing place, I never saw a pirated PE1 in my teens, and when I managed to get good internet/burn cds and tried PE1, I didn`t enjoy it. PE2 and PE1 for me are Like Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger, you can play both standalone and have fun. Except that bot CC, CT and PE2 are masterpieces and PE1 is lame and repetitive battles, I could never withstand it and just watched some youtubes to know a little about the story

i played pe2 when i was around 14, i like and beat the first game. but i quit the second one halfway through, it just seem like i wasnt understanding something. add to that the shoot out at ok corral puzzle and i just couldnt finish it. might try it again now that im older and wiser.

I just finished the game! I had enough items saved up that I just cheesed the final boss.

I think this game is more fun in terms of combat and exploring, but oof the story and characters are terrible.

Anyway, the description for bounty mode says to find the "hidden golems." Is this a goal, to find all the golems, or is that just to let you know that they spawn in new places?

I just finished the first one. Only complaints are there are a lot of spots that you can walk through but Aya just doesn't want to fucking walk through it. Also pushing X on parts of the environments to trigger stuff barley works half the time. Also that final boss chase sequence, fuck that. My first two complaints made me re-do the final boss twice
Fun game though
