need help on system shock because literally every other board on the internet about these types of games are dead.
When do respawns kick in?
Does security always have to be at 0%?
and how do you know what your current objective is?
tips would be great

Enemy respawns depend on the amount that is still alive, when reaches a low enough threshold they respawn. Not all enemies respawns, to see which ones do an their thresholds look at the wiki

>Does security always have to be at 0%?
No, some locked doors/buttons/etc are available at higher security levels. You should always strive for 0%, but it's not going to be always available from the get go depending on what deck we are talking about

Lack of a coherent player journal has always bugged me in this game. Generally if you're lost check Rebecca's last mail and "Status" software to see what's still active and get an idea of what to do.

Idunno how far you are, but don't bother staying on level 3 after you've explored what you can of the level (especially the upper sections: hint hint), and hop on the freight elevator. Most of the level is closed off till later on, and the damn invisible mutants constantly respawn and will waste a lotta ammo trying to deal with.
