I believe it's one of those point & click games with a CG Kirby... Although it's confusing, because this pink puffball is a baby, but that's not revealed much later.

The possible reason for it's cancellation is the poor sales of the SNES mouse, which was only good for MarioPaint.

Hardcore (Amiga/MegaDrive) from DICE, who are well known for their Games on the Amiga like Benefactor and the awesome Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions Series. But it looks like they're occupied with some crappy 3rd person war shooters and equally rubbish Star Wars games now.

But that game Hardcore looked very promising, despite making the impression of a Turrican clone.
Fuck, that game was pretty much finished and was cancelled when Sony bought Psygnosis with a couple of other games.

Tengai Makyo III: Namida

Not even a fan of Tengai Makyo but the concept art for the original PC engine version of this game is the coolest shit. It was ultimately released on ps2 but they redid the entire game and turned it into a forgettable jrpg. Really a shame, what could have been seems like a really interesting game.
