I upgraded the JBL speakers that looked like they had poop on them. These are shielded and don't affect the monitor at all. They sound great and decently match the pvm. They took up the space for my consoles so I'm in the process of rigging up some kind of shelving or converting the metal cabinet to have a set of shelves in it and the drawer in the bottom. It's very much WIP still but it's getting closer to how I want it. The shitty fluorescent light also washed out the picture on the monitor, looks better in person.

I also have a 27" SD trinitron, 19" APEX, 13" RCA, 8" PVM and a 13" BVM that are not pictured. I know I'm kind of a meme at this point and I am definitely hoarding them for the uncertain crt future and to set a few friends up. I think I'm done with getting CRTs at this point unless I find a 25" pro monitor for $100 or something. It's definitely stupid to have that many, but it's pretty fun when groups of friends or niece/nephew and their family come over. We can each play different systems or play something multiplayer on the big trinitron in the corner. I had an empty basement so at least it's something to do there now.

The only ones I paid anything for other than the pvm/bvm were the widescreen trinitron which I paid $40 two years ago just because I was impatient. I just have to get the HDMI port working on it when I have time to mess with it.
It actually has pretty minimal lag but it's mainly used for non /vr/ stuff and watching movies/netflix/hulu.

The black sharp is the one I've had since I was a teenager, I think I may have actually paid for it back then but it would have been under $100 since I worked part time and bought it myself. The rest were curb finds over the last couple years or free on craigslist.

Funny story, I actually like the picture on the silver sharp the most. It's colors are way more saturated and not as "proper" as the PVM, but they just pop for retro games, and of course it was a curb find lol.

Short story time. I bought LE at a pawn shop, iit was CIB and even the second orange controller in it's own box. I loved that thing, played with my cousins a lot. About a year later they wanted to borrow it. After about 3 months I asked for it back. My younger cousin had loaned it to a friend and it vanished. Younger cousin was telling the truth, the friend was a scumbag.

From collection or /v/ingo threads? And hey, at least it's somewhat more organized now with the shelving for the consoles.

I don't really remember but it's sad to know you're still here like me; remember we are here forever anon

I guess that's true. Huge coincidence though, I normally don't go to /vr/ because they won't let me post about newer console stuff. And by newer I mean fucking ps2, which surely at some point will have to be considered retro.

I remembered the attic and the game boys. This board is slow as shit but moderated heavily which makes it worthwhile. Remember that fedora faggot posting weekly flea market videos, big game hunter or something. May have been even longer than 8 years at this point. I'm approaching 40

Damn, I don't remember that guy. And yeah, the gameboys, that display isn't done yet currently, someone still has to send me a last batch of 3D printed stands to display them all upright.
And.. It could be longer than 8 years? I mean I've been here for longer than 8 for sure.

It looks like you're missing a Game Boy Light anon. Be sure to find one to complete the collection and to have a goal in life; no matter how small, because they run out fast. Thanks for talking to me and hope you had a great holiday.

No, I have a gold gameboy light.

Finding new consoles to collect becomes hard at a certain point, all that's left for older stuff is limited editions.

Original gameboy series play it loud? I have all of those. The only "real" original gameboy I'm still missing is the Manchester United version.

What kind of computers are those in the upper left above the virtual boy?

Sorry, had to go to work.
Those are the DTP-T1000 and DTP-H1500, or the PSP test tool and the PSP dev tool.
The PSP thing in that display case is actually a wired controller.

It's good you got that flat screen. Seems like too much of a hassle to play a PS4 on a CRT with special cables.

I still have this same TV. The picture has highly degraded though, so I only use it to play NES and Atari games. Even SNES has too much detail for it to display well

Damn this is a sight! You have a great collection holmes, I really dig how the console variants are displayed here. What's that on top of the PS2 phat, a folding lcd screen? also, tons of points for having an sd wega, a widescreen trini, and a pvm.

Thank you! And no, I don't think I have anything attached to a PS2 phat, that's one of those LCD screen you screw onto the back of your PS2 slim.
Sorry the picture is a bit grainy, it's the best my phone could do at the time, after being resized to be postable on 4chan.
Is that an SD Wega though? This is the standard sony trinitron tv that is used for the PS2 demopods, it's a KV-21FX30B, the big blue PS2 demopod has one as well.
I really love that widescreen trinitron though, had it for so long, I just don't want to get rid of it because it works so well for my older consoles. The PVM I got for 90 bucks, love the thing too.

It's a PVM-1271Q
