I don't mind it man, you pay around $6 to support non DRM and you get lots of extra content with the game. It's always attached to your account kinda like steam, yet there's no client other than to download it.

I'm pretty poor too, I scrap up small amounts of money once in a while.

Also this may sound dumb but part of the reason I don't download games or emulate (if it can be avoided) is that I feel more like playing through a game and beating it than if I just downloaded it.

Yeah, sucks being poor though. I spend much smaller amounts on games these days, as I'm trying to play lots of older ones anyway.
