I never liked this rule. First, it's hard not to look at the other screens accidently. Second, it shouldn't be banned at all, everybody has the same advantage.

It does lead to some weird strategies though, like running around looking at the ground to fool the other players.

Screencheaters are fags and have no real skill. In my household if you were screencheating you were disqualified from playing anymore that day. And we had a whoever the odd-one-out be the ref, so it was monitored.

It happens accidentally, I'd rather not have to spend a portion of my effort trying to confine my eyes to this tiny fucking patch of a screen, it's fucking eyeball prison and no fun. You still can tell what they're doing even if you blur it out of your focus. Every person I met who was militant about this rule had severe anger issues.

I love playing against little bitches who use every possible excuse for losing. Like looking at the video display when playing a video game. I was playing against one fucker the other day who insisted I must be cheating because I was countering him with slower moves it would be impossible to get in even if I started my input in the same frame his animation began. Of course I was inputting earlier. As soon as I heard him start his input. He cried about how that's cheating and I'm probably a screen peeker, etc. Damn right. I'll use whatever tools I have to my advantage. If you need me to be blindfolded and put in a sensory deprivation tank to beat me at a childs game you might want to practice more.
