Some games with the best soundtracks are:

ps2 is /vr/ now. The rules are dated and need to be changed for the modern times. We can only have so many of the same threads posted over and over again before we realize the only thing that can reinvigorate the board is new systems to talk about. It worked with Dreamcast for a year or so.

I've been playing through Defender of the Future for the first time over the past week and I can't recall the music too well already. I mean it's there and it's good, but it blends in with the atmosphere so well that it doesn't stand out for me on its own. Maybe I should download the OST or something.

pc vr games i'd wager total annihilation / command and conquer / warcraft 2 / starcraft / actually seems like any RTS from the time.

and any scrolling shooter - tyrian, raptor, stargunner especially.
