Honestly I want to know how anyone in their right mind can enjoy a Wrpg
Especially the older ones

>Only two settings
Wrpgs have two settings, low fantasy and scifi.
Maybe urban and post-apocalyptic if you want to stretch what is a wrpg.

>Artstyle
Hyper-real with muted colors which look like shit within 6 years

Inb4 someone says Jrpgs are all generic anime
>Makai kingdom
>mario and luigi rpg
> Mother series
>dragon quest (toriyama's style isn't typical)
>popolocrois
The list goes on

>Music
Filler music that ins't memorable in the least bit,
Give me at least 6 memorable/humble tracks from a single Wrpg and I will shut up

>Main protagoist
Blank slate or male/female apex

INB4 Jrpgs only have sissy fembois
>Zetta from makai kingdom
>torneko from dragon quest
>slime from rocket slime
> Mario and Luigi
>shion from xenosaga
>Preiere from La pucelle (considered really fat)

>Stories
Mindlessly walking about doing nothing, and fetch quests
Illusion of choice, with evil and sadistic gameplay

>Gameplay
hack and slash

while jrpgs are varied
>strategy hybrid
>acttive time
>brawler styled

So tell me why are these games fun and why are they better than Jrpgs?
