Hey there nerds.
I've been contemplating making some kind of review of Tetris for the NES. The thing is, I don't have a capture card and can't really afford such a thing in the first place, however, I do want that old static/noise effect when playing over coaxial.
If anyone could hook me up with an NES emulator with the super lit distortion, that'd be great.

RetroArch comes with some shaders for NTSC, VHS, loose cable, and even technicolor film.

Some are delightfully shitty.

The basic Blargg's NTSC RF may be you want, but I don't know if it exists for anything but SNES. Check in under video, and in core settings after loading a game. Some cores come with Blargg's in their own options.

Retroarch has a shader called gtu-famicom, which replicates the look of a Famicom on a CRT, if you mess with the settings you can add RF noise. You can also disable the CRT effect so it just looks like the raw signal.

You'll need to use it with the NES palette set to 'raw' in emaultor settings though, and it will only work for NES/famicom

I have no idea what you're trying to achieve here. If you could somehow make your review feel fresh, I'd be impressed; but what is there still to be said about Tetris?

The "people" who make "video "essays"" need to be purged. Not to mention the dumbasses who eat that shit up.

Actually checked the video this time after I saw the reflection in the thumbnail. I still won't listen to 30+ minutes of someone going on about webcomics, but at least it's not as bad as I thought.
