it has one main theme, which is carried throughout the game, and the songs for the family of boss monsters are variations of the same theme because they're family members. That's basically it. Every other character gets their own music (unless they're a different family of ghosts or something)

you're also not supposed to listen to videogame music outside of the context of the game such that you can bitch and get tired of it instead of appreciating the 4-10 hour journey you were meant to have before you got over the fucking game and stopped drowning yourself in it.
