what are the sword lengths like in more modern/casual games?

In zelda 2 it is the size of half of link's body, which might be 2.5~3 feet. Probably a shorter sword that i'd prefer to use but it works fine in game.

Temple design gets kinda shitty towards the end. The two last temples are nothing but annoying mazes full of dead ends since the magic key means you no longer have to search for keys anywhere. That key ruined the entire flow and should've never been in the game.
