Haha, it's you that needs to wake up. Project64 being so inaccurate is the whole reason all the elaborate Mario/Zelda/Banjo mods work on it and not retroarch or real hardware.

There's some more hardware-friendly stuff coming out these days (like OP's mod) but the big hitters still use the same broken emulator out of convenience.
