I think there are multiple people who say this, and one of them pulls out his blaster if you respond with that.
Maybe I'm thinking of something else, but I'm pretty sure I had an NPC attack me for trying to be funny.

I remember a vidya magazine at the time praising how this game had "literally 2000 different sounds only for footsteps!"

But was it really true?

I never played it legitimately though. Always went on rampages through Mos Eisley and the Gungan village to see how long I could survive.

The controls kind of sucked but overall this was one of the better movie-licensed games of the era.

God, this is something I DON'T fucking miss from retro games, licensed games.
Say what you want, but in post-retro age, licensed games have gotten MUCH better.

I feel like there was a period from the mid 90's to the late 2000's where licensed games became largely trash, where as before that it was more 50/50. I chalk that up a lot to the need to push movies as big multi-media franchises, so they had to have a game among other merchandise to really push the movie, and a lot of those games were just grafted onto concepts created by other, more successful games, where as licensed games before that had to come up with a more unique concept of gameplay to make the game worth developing.

I think the period where they got bad started earlier, around NES era. Only a handful of licensed games (like Batman) were good, while most (Superman, Predator, Back to the Future, Total Recall, Terminator, Home Alone) were crappier and crappier.
