I find Mezase! Senkyuuou or Battle Balls uniquely interesting because there's sort of a physics with the pieces as they roll down. It is one of my favorites as there's an arcade that still has it on free play around here.

Thanks, it does seem like a lot of franchises expand out to have a puzzle game. I was more delighted to find that Psychic Force had one based around Puzzle Bobble. Also Konami sure used its Taisen Puzzle Dama for a few of its franchises, like Castlevania Puzzle: Encore of the Night.

do I have a game for you! its even weirder because it has its own game dynamics
