Hey /vr/

Problem:disabled bro (he's 43 and has multiple disabilities) loves old school vidya. Snes, Genesis, master system, NES and old arcade vidya however I'm having trouble finding an ill in one emulator or frontend for multiple emulators he can use easily.
He has no idea how to use a computer properly but can navigate menus and stuff with a controller easily.

I've tried teaching him how to play emulators individually but he'll either end up deleting the emulator, roms or start messing around with the computer or online (found him jerking it to porn, some not legal, funnily enough he seems fine using chrome).

It helps him chill and gets rid of thee voices in his head as well as not having conversations with people who aren't there.

Any suggestions?

Mod a wii and set it up so each emu is it's own channel with bright icons and music. It's pretty easy to do and should be a breeze for him to controll.

Why did you have illegal porn easily accessible on your computer for him to find, anyway?

Give him a modded Wii. You can download VC WADs and stick them on an SD card. Although there are several third-party emulators released for Wii as well.

Don't bother, because it's just going to be a bloated mess that ends up breaking shit left to right. The current options in that regard use finicky text-based config files that ignore your settings most of the time.

If he's truly disabled, I'd think it would be a reasonable defense that he didn't know what he was doing, but the average citizen is so worried about muh children that it might not matter much if he went to trial. That being said, unless he was posting it somewhere or downloading from a public torrent or something, it probably won't become an issue.
