I'm looking for 16bit games based on Marvel and DC properties for 16bit consoles (arcade too, I guess?). X-Men 2: Clone Wars is pretty good on the Sega Genesis.

Batman Returns on the SNES is also a pretty fun beat-em-up.

It's not as good as the arcade game, obviously. But it was OK for a 16bit Genesis port. It played like the arcade game, at least. Shame the arcade game never got ported anywhere else. It is actually one of my favorite Capcom beat 'em ups.

I've never played this one, but it looks pretty good. Doing a google search for Antimatium's Range also came up with results for Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems, which I have never really played either. But it looks like it has some nice sprite artwork.

Speaking of Captain America, I always kinda liked the Data East Captain America and the Avengers arcade game.
