Hey /vr/ been trying to make a list of retro games that fit in the "low poly action, ARPG or RPG" description. I don't know why, but this kind of aesthetics and gameplay really appeals to me. Can you guys help me? Any plataform welcome. So far my list is:

>Mega Man Legends 1-2
>Quest 64
>Legend of Legaia
>Alundra 2
>Tail Concerto
>Guardian's Crusade

My children, long before GoT there was Aidyn. You'll never forget it, if you have patience.

It plays like an adult Quest 64, with grotesque death screams. Even the intro is kino.

The only relevant one.
Like, seriously, did the N64 get even one anime license game?

I like the aesthetics of Quest 64, but find the combat extremely boring. Does it get any better?

I remember seeing ads for this in Nintendo Power when I was young. As someone who felt indifferent to Quest 64 would you recommend it

It hasn't aged well. No, I wouldn't recommend it. But I put 70+ hours into the story alone and I found it's worth beating for the bragging rights.

You have to camp when it gets dark. The monsters that come out at night will slaughter your party if not, and the villages are empty during the night. At worst you'll get jumped, but if you beat them you'll still wake fully rested.

Every village has a different architecture, song, costumes. They really put soul into the design. You have to walk everywhere, until you activate the teleportation platforms, but not before you're well into the game.

When your guys die, they die for real. Your party is maxed at 4, and you meet potential members along the way so you have to choose carefully who to keep and who to let go. They'll randomly spark a conversation cutscenes while you travel and which ones you see depend on who is actually in your party.

But it's an eye sore. You'll be running for hours along the countryside from village to castle to town. And the protagonist is afflicted with a magic poison which makes him hallucinate scary shit.

Hybrid Heaven is a unique adventure game with RPG mechanics, battles mix elements of turn based menues with real time 3D fighting and wrestling.
The setting, music and atmosphere is also late 90s as fuck.
