i wonder how many people here listen to analog only recordings on vinyl thru tube amps or if they listen to an mp3 thru their phone or computer instead and for just a split second consider that maybe there are concessions to be made for the sake of convenience, space and practicality in general. enjoy your hobby but stop being a faggot about it. not accusing anyone in this thread about it but lord whys everyone so dogmatic.

where do you think we are?

nerds spend all their time bundled up in their rooms to themselves, it's really no surprise that they become manifestations of their consumption and interests. as a result they become fickle and over self-righteous about superficial things. put a nerd next to a normal socially active person and the nerd will actively find ways to ostracize himself. only a small amount of us are self-aware.

in tandem, i am completely in tune of how much of a failure i am, other people should own up to it as well.

If an emulator stops working, all you'll need to do is uninstall it and redownload the files. It will cost you an hour and some groans.

If your vintage system breaks down, you will either have to get it repaired or replaced entirely, which can take days or even weeks and cost prices as high as $100 or even more.
