The Master Sword's regular swing just bounces off Ganon like it were nothing. You have to do a spin attack to actually hurt him.

Pokemon should have updated it's mechanics for the n64, i would kill for a 3D pokemon game with real time battle (similar to pokepark but more polished) and a fully realized world/pokemon ecosystem. I remember having an issue of a gaming magazine before I got this game. It had all sorts of pictures and special stuff, and I would look at it all damn day. There was also a little Christmas catalogue in the back of the magazine with OoT figures, and despite having not playing the game, I wanted them so badly.
When I finally got the game, and when I finally beat it, I felt so accomplished. I ran upstairs and told my mom that I had beaten Ganon with 100% genuine pride.

My first video game. I remember going to Best Buy or something with my mom to get my first console. She told me "okay, anon. You can either play Mario or you can play Sonic." I used to play it with my friend from across the street, I'd let him play as Sonic and I'd play as Tails. This was the game that introduced me to action RPGs and I love it. It was the first game that I was so into, I couldn't stop playing and actually fell asleep during the middle of playing. Getting new moves and testing them out in battle, to me, it was the future of RPGs.

For your consideration. I know BK and BT have a shit ton to collect, but they don't hold a candle to DK64. After all, DK64 did need that expansion pak, remember? BK and BT did not.

Yes, but DK64 is 10 levels, 25 golden bananas per level, plus all the plain bananas, plus all the blueprints, plus all the coins...it's insane. I definitely think BK & BT are close, but DK64 takes the cake.

I used to play this against my brother all the time. He always used to beat me. In our teens we brought it out again for old times sake and I was better than him.

We still duke it out whenever we get to see each other. We're equally good now.
