A lot of games are good music with no sounds, and some are minimalist music with some sounds, and others no sounds at all. I think they were limited by some sound channel limit, correct me if I'm wrong

They're not, the Amiga has 8-voice sound. The games he posted were made by C64 shovelware developers who never bothered to properly use the Amiga's hardware. It was very common on C64 games to have that giant score bar and no sfx for technical reasons, but there was no reason to do it on the Amiga.

And there was a whole episode explaining how Ultra and him got together. I don't remember specifics but there was another guy involved and George had to win her over (which was copied by the simpsons later). But I think he wasn't a black guy, no.
There was one thing I specifically remember about that episode, it ended with George carrying Ultra to a hotel bedroom and the door had a letter "do not disturb", the implications were obvious even as a kid I got it.

No that's a legit good co-op platformer.
As a general rule, most licensed games by Capcom and Konami are good. Tiny Toon Adventures on NES is a classic platformer.
There's also Sunsoft's Batman games.

All of the Taito-published Flinstones games are pretty good surprisingly.
The Jetsons games they published are good too. Can't comment on the GB game, that's the one I haven't played.
