Hello /vr/, I want to ask your opinion on something.

I was thinking about buying a second N64. Do you think 10 dollars is a fair price for one that doesn't have any controllers? Everything else is there..

I figured I could just hunt down a few extra controllers going to garage.

So what do you think?

Garage sales that is. Oops.

Ten dollars is a fair price for just about anything. It's not enough to feel ripped off by. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? "Haha, bro, you paid ten dollars for that?! It's worth five at most!". Big whoop, you overspent by five dollars.

I didn't mean anything like that. I know I'm not taking a " big risk ". I'm just wondering if it would be worth it just to build up a second N64. Just as a little side collecting project.

Fuck it. That sounds worth it just for that.

it's worth it. you can use 3rd party controllers if you can find any cheap ones.

I used to have a gamester one.

Wow, that is really harsh. Maybe I just got lucky. One of my best friends traded me his N64, one controller, (the neon green controller) and a few games for MGS VR Missions. He was going to trade in the N64 and he wouldn't get much for it.

I kept trying to give him at least 20 dollars but he wouldn't accept it.

I'll keep that in mind. I just really love first party stuff for my systems. Unless it's a cable hookup in the back.. I really don't care about off brand stuff in that area.
