Is it worth getting I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream on Steam? Will it work better than on DOSBox?

When you pay for a retro game the money doesn't go to the people who created it. It goes to which ever company acquired the rights. Pay if you want but even the game designers have said they don't give a fuck if you pirate their 20 year old game so what's the point
