Oh boy, here we go.
Alright retardoid, first off, a game having muh swords and dragons doesn't make it an RPG. Technically, any game with a recognizable character is an RPG. Donkey Kong could be a fucking RPG by this autistic standard. So, if we really want to define what is generally considered to be an RPG, we look at the mechanics most typical "RPGs" consist of: combat-focused gameplay, character classes, stats and skill trees, loot, all of that. Zelda doesn't have that. Zelda is only an RPG in the same way you would call Donkey Kong an RPG.
No, Zelda is an adventure game. An adventure game is a game where you go on a fucking adventure. You explore, solve puzzles, talk to characters, collect items with particular uses, and maybe engage in some degree of combat. That's an adventure game. That's Zelda. That's not an RPG.
Now shut the fuck up.
