Anyone have any suggestions for games to play when you're feeling down? I don't really have the motivation to play certain games lately. Played a little bit of FFVII before but I could only focus on it for a hour or so. Anyone else feel similar to me? What games do you play when you need something to occupy your mind.

On a similar tack, Sonic can be quite comforting. Kirby is another platforms that is easy but has some variety in playstyle.

Action-puzzle games like Panel de pon, Tetris and Puyo Puyo are pretty good for getting into a flow state.

Maybe a music game? Um Jammer Lammy, Vib Ribbon or Space Channel 5. Oh, Rez is well worth playing if you haven't.

Personally Strategy RPGs like Fire Emblem and Super Robot Wars have been a sure-fire way to get me hooked on a game in recent years
