The Famicom is red or something. The NES is some shitty grey and blue. This isn't too hard.
Only if the SAME console is marketed in different regions does the naming carry over. The NES is a different form-factor and used different cartridges. That's like saying the GBA and the Gameboy Player are the same console, and should be called by the same name. There's marked differences between them.
