Might be eventually released on the switch.

I really want this but it takes a whole daughterboard in addition to a different PPU than is in my Vs. Hogan's Alley

Also is there some secret meme about how many Castlevania threads can be up at once?

Real talk, what do people think of Chronicles?

The 4 hit thing is annoying but I got used to it and the feeling of beating Dracula was amazing. But having only 8 levels feels a bit short compared to Rondo and Super IV, and even Bloodlines (which had 6 2 parter stages)

They combIned parts of haunted castle and vs Castlevania in the gameplay.

I thought it was more Arcadey.

Why is the jap version of Bloodlines over a thousand dollars on ebay?

Japanese megadrive games are legitimately uncommon if not rare

>> No.4532662

Japs grew up with access to Rondo, Super IV and Bloodlines and therefore know Bloodlines to be the absolute best game.

>> No.4533137

>>4532662
Japs probably didn't play Bloodlines since the MegaDrive was highly unpopular there. Rondo is probably the most popular game there, it even got a direct sequel (SotN) and a remixed port on SNES.

oh man for real? I figured they'd be kinda cheap like famicom games
makes sense I guess

MegaDrive wasn't a popular system in Japan so that's probably why.
