When you make sweeping autistic generalizations, you can make anything sound bad. For example, I can say the PS1 isn't anything except gay JRPGs, and ironically that would be closer to the truth. I'm not sure how you would even arrive at the conclusion that the N64 is nothing but "kiddy platformers and generic racers" given that most of the best-remembered games on the platform don't even fall into those categories.

Look, I get it, you grew up with a PS1 and while all the chads were out having fun playing Goldeneye with friends, you were playing SNES-tier anime games and now find yourself incapable of enjoying all the great games you pretend the N64 doesn't have. Personally, I feel bad for you. You've handicapped your own potential for joy in life. I had both, and loved both, but the N64 was the best. Games like Star Fox 64, Super Smash Bros, Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Blast Corps, Paper Mario, Doom 64, Ocarina of Time and many more are an absolute blast to play even to this day.
