I've gotten so used to OpenEmu that I have zero patience for Retroarch's quirks when having to deal with it on other OSes. Am I a butthead?

RetroArch is centuries ahead of the pile of dogshit known as OpenEmu.

Can't even run correctly with decent vsync and no audio stuttering. It is a piece of crap, putting style over substance. Just like shitty Macs and Apple in fact, so it perfectly suits the dumbed down target audience.

Call me old, but back in my day, emulation was all about tracking down ROMs and playing games.
Now it seems to be about arguing over frontends and tech specs. Also retards whining about accurate emulation not existing or some such shit.

I mean, I get that every ROM in existence is easily accessible now, but still. Who gives a flying fuck about a quirky emulator? Or frame rate, or monitor types, of front ends, or any of that trivial bullshit?
Just pick one, use it and talk about the god damned games, instead.
