I think the loading times tend to get overblown with the PS1 FF ports. That fucking Chrono Trigger port though, half the time I was wondering if the game froze the loading was that bad.

CT isn't so bad on PSVita or PS3 via PSN moderately bad on PS2/3 disc without fast load, not too much worse than PSN with. Went through it recently on Vita and then again on PS3 and didn't think it was too bad.

FF6 is the real bitch. Load times are BAD regardless of hardware because it seems the load times are coded into the software itself rather than relying on the hardware to load when ready. No amount of adjustments will ever bring 6's load times down save for straight emulation with frameskipping, but then what's the point of choosing the PSX port over SNES?
