For me it's Braver. The one and only Cloud used the Braver against the foulest creatures including Shinra. Yup, you know it. SOLDIER all the way! When I was a kid it made me light up with excitement the first time I saw Cloud light up like a sparkler and wail death on a Shinra soldier!!!! Then I started placing myself in his shoes to get an understanding for the one who would take on the man in black to save the planet. When Cloud uses his limit does Aerith feel turned on? I began to keep her in my party and use Braver as often as I could to imagine her feelings for me. I started to fall in love with her/ I would play alone in my living room and become Cloud. Sometimes it was the only thing that made me feel like I mattered. Being Cloud Strife with Aerith by my side provided me with the best memories from childhood. I've built computers and learned advanced engineering by the age of 13 but that didn't matter. This is WHY GAMES MATTER.

'Braver' made me feel invincible. It still does.

There is an actual movie called Braver.
The actual title is A Fairy Tale Christmas.

It's just some animated Canadian Christmas special repackaged in the UK to look like a mockbuster of Disney-Pixar's Brave, back in around July! When Christmas was still 5 months away!

The special itself is pretty decent but the really horrible thing about it is how they try to repackage a Christmas special and turn it into a Brave mockbuster.

And I am actually one of the few people who really loved Brave. (the actual one by Pixar)
But I do hate it when people confuse it for a Walt Disney Animation Studios film when it's actually a Pixar film.
Merida being an actual Disney Princess doesn't help.

Yep! Rigged an alarm clock to play the victory music when i was a kid in fact. They werent as sophisticated back then so you had to physically take apart and install a chip that modified the alarm clock to play your music of choice but by God i pulled it off! I started the day off right!

It came as a shock. When her arms went stiff my eyes went adrift. The cutscene lasted forever. It felt slow motion. It was in slow motion. I never saw someone I love die. She was taken away from me like a favorite childhood toy tossed out into the sea in a memory you made up to make it feel like you had memories that were aching when the reality is you were always sheltered. Now your love dies. She dies in a virtual setting and you feel deprived. She isn't on disc 2. She isn't on disc 3 except briefly in one scene. I took the loss to heart. When she left I murmered about what real death must feel like. Maybe when my dog died I would feel this deprived. Maybe when mom dies I would feel this deprived. I was 7 and didn't know death or love for real.

This is very sentimental Edgar. You should write a novel or epic I would read it. I wish I could make save states IRL so when I fuck up I could rewind time and not have regrets. Or just a stat increase and have max willpower. Or get lucky 7s and win the lottery so I dont have to be poor anymore and girls would like me.

When I'm out running and don't do so well I always remember that jogging guy in Balamb garden. At some point in the game he says "Take the pain! One more!" and for some reason that stuck with me ;_;
