I've known I could since I was a kid, but never really used it outside of the arrow traps in level 6 and the level 6 boss until today. Blocking made him easier, but I still run out of shuriken and start having problems.

Refuse to move onto doom 2 until it's beaten, even though it's the 4th episode of doom (or ultimate doom) which came out after the release of doom 1 and doom 2. I've gotten pretty close to beating it but I keep getting frustrated and then I start playing worse.

I don't remember it being very difficult on Hurt Me Plenty but on Ultra-Violence this level is absolutely fucking filthy with cacodemons. Just everywhere. And then two Barons, which you can choose to either fight on tiny platforms over lava or in extremely close quarters. And you get jack shit for weapons and ammo.

Playing on UV, the first three episodes are incredibly tame by comparison.

The game has its problems, but yeah. It's certainly worth getting. I wouldn't put it on par with Revenge of Shinobi or Shinobi III, but there are a lot of interesting design elements. It's a game that could really use a sequel, but we know it will never see one.
