If you stop playing now then it technically never ends

>> No.4479539

He's a disappointment, OP.

>is a final boss in a zelda game disappointing
take a wild fucking guess

>> No.4479556

Yes he's a disappointment as a boss. But he's also a disappointment to his father.

>> No.4479574

He's alright. About as good as the bosses you've fought so far.

Doing side quests is up to you.

This. The only great Zelda final boss is Minish Cap's Vaati. Link's Awakening's Nightmare is also pretty good if you didn't use the boomerang, and so was Majora's Mask's if you didn't use the Fierce Deity Mask. Every other final boss is outright lame.

i've always hated the fact that ganon fights were sorta lame compared to everything leading up to. wind waker's fight was ok. tandem battle with zelda. had to sidestep and backflip around him in oot just to make it feel cool.
dancin with the devil. aw yea

fight him with only the master sword and no silver arrows and he should be a decent challenge

>Fight him without the mandatory weapons needed to beat him

Ganon's actually a decent final boss in ALttP OP. It's pretty easy to land hits on him though, and he does use a perpetual gimmick near the end that might be frustrating for a while.

you can beat ganon without silvers

Why can't Nintendo do final bosses?

>> No.4482427

Because the japs had us as a final boss and we dropped two nukes on them.

Ever since then, they're scared of creating a powerhouse that can just nuke them again.

nintendo doesnt want people to become frustrated during the climax of the game so they make the final boss easy

The ones from the Punch Out games are probably the best but yeah, have to agree. I think this is in part due to the genres of their typical games; for instance, for a platforming an ultimate challenge is still about jumping.

That's totally unintended in the game though. His first run shouldn't be trying to glitch out the game.

And the Japs hate Punch-Out. They all bitched about Little Mac in Smash Bros too.

Japanese had a reputation for being able to do well at difficult games, and I don't know where that came from, because they fucking hate challenging games.

Name 1 final boss that is actually worth it.

This is weird to me considering all the high records set by Japanese guys on hard as shit shmups, as well as pro fighting game players. Maybe this is a thing for console Japanese players fans of JRPGs.

No different that difficulties for US games being ramped way up back in the day, but US video game consumers today preferring games you can't even lose. Most people don't like being challenged by video games.
