Hey /vr/, what's a good retro golf game? I finished NES Open Tournament and want something new, preferably something that is both 2D and challenging.

I also prefer it be on a home console. If it's on PC then I will accept it however. And not interested in neo turf masters, already played that one.

Hot Shots Golf 2 is the single greatest retro golf game. GBC Mario Golf is also a damn fine game, and probably the finest example of 2D golf you'll find.

I grew up with the old black box Golf on NES and got really really good at it. Once you master that game it's fun to try and beat your own score.

My Grandfather and father both played golf irl and I just got my 1st hole in one last year
