If you take away JRPGS the SNES library is basically the same or worse than the NES. It has Super Metroid, sure, but most of its action games have slowdown and shitty music. NES has the superior megamans, X is for babies, the superior Zeldas, the superior Mario, as 3 is simply a better game than World in every way. On top of that is has tons of other great games. Castlevanias are better on NES, Crystalis isn't on anything else aside from the botched GBC port, River City Ransom is the best console beat em up ever made, Metalstorm is lit, I could keep going, since you're here for recommendations anyway you'd probably love it you sick btich.
