It’s a shoot em up/run and gun with hundreds of bullets flying on screen at the same time. Bullet hells, shoot em up it’s all the same shit, the only thing that changes is the setting and characters, which decide the type of movement. On foot? Left and right movement with jumping. Flying? Any direction of movement.

It’s all the same genre, but if you want to argue semantics then be my guest, I won’t waste my time.
