-use the back attack (hold attack then press jump button)
-only tap punch to stunlock enemies
-don't bother with the mexican
-use footsies to gain advantages

What I mean with the last one is move around using up/down to avoid enemy attacks. This is especially helpful for most of the boss fights. Also grabs are really strong and you should constantly be going for them.

That should help you to avoid some deaths before the final boss. Don't worry about continuing. Its not like you are playing the arcade version and should feel bad you continued too much. These games were meant to literally be press start and play games. So you play with whatever options the game starts with.

This, and learn to grab enemies, especially bosses. Even the twin bitches can be grabbed, it's just harder.

>do a knee attack twice
>release the grabbing
>instantly grab again
>repeat

Works on all of them, it's just a bit harder with some.

So basically, stunlock regular foes with small punches (don't do combos), grablock bosses. Win game.

For those girls keep your back to them dodge their jumps, the get them with a back attack when they walk up to grapple you. It's a slow scummy way but it works.

Do this, you have to wait until he engages his attack and sidestep him. The window of time where his path is set and you can begin moving out of the way without having him aim at you is very small but SoR isn't supposed to be a baby game

Yes this is a good tactic. The girls are probably the hardest boss fight in this game outside of Mr. X I would say. What makes Mr. X hard is how devastating his gun is. These bosses are the hardest in the game. SOR1 is easier than SOR2 OP.
