Asterix beat'em up from Konami. Without doubt the best Asterix game and of course one of the best beat'em up ever made. Why Konami never ported it to a console (even a downgraded version on SNES) is a big mystery. Since Konami released X-Men arcade to XBLA and PSN why not Asterix?

Pepsiman for PSX. For a low-budget game based on a commercial mascot it's surprisingly good.

The irony? While it was originally released as a cheap game with lots of copies, now it's quite expensive on eBay even thought it's not rare just because it's a cult game with big demand from collectors.

Not retro, but The Warriors

>> No.445007

>>444913
Maybe, but the story and the whole setting was screaming "Die Hard 1" so much that they had to use the name at the localization in order to avoid any possible charge for copyright issues (which it would be quite understandable with this game).

Heck, even people who don't know about Die Hard Arcade and they have seen Dynamite Deka's main character at Project X Zone their first reaction was "Isn't that Bruce Willis?"
