He looks groomed there. His fur looks all nice and soft and fluffy, whereas in DKC it looked all matted and gross. His eyes are less sunken-in. There's a set of pearly-white teeth where there used to just be a gaping maw.

I don't mind Rareware DK, it's the nintendo depictions of Rareware's designs I dislike. I liiked when he was a dumb gorilla who thinks he's the coolest, but now he's a dumb gorilla who doesn't think anything.

Well for one he looks bulkier, instead of "maybe a little more beefy than mario" which is fine with me.

What I don't like is his super soft carpet style fur. Gorillas don't use shampoo and conditioner. Why do people think that just because you can make every strand of hair visible, doesn't mean that you should.

It doesn't look good on Mario and his mustache either, especially since it makes Mario's mustache look like it's glued on instead of growing out of his lip, since real mustaches don't grow the way his is implied to.
