I grew up with the genesis version, but played the snes one on an emulator.
If you go left one screen after getting off the train, there's a guy you get the guitar from.
On the genesis version, you have to walk around and enter the area twice before he shows up. He showed up right away in the snes version.

I have a solution for ya. Make sure there is no corrosion on the chips, then gently reassemble the card making sure not to screw in the screws to tight. Then slowly place the cart into the nearest trash receptacle. Let us know how it turns out!

you should be able to test them while they're on the board. You might need to do some digging on what values they're rated for, because I have no idea.

Funny enough, my cousin and many of my friends growing up had this weird ass game. None of them asked for it or went to the store intending to buy it, but it was usually $10 or less and since it had fucking PAC MAN in the name it was considered to be a decent budget game gamble.

From like 1993-1996 you could go to most retailers like Kmart and they would have shelves of budget SNES and Genesis games for usually less than $15. Sometimes this was great; I picked up Batman Returns and NHL 94 for SNES for $15 each and they were fucking amazing. I picked up BALLZ for $10...wew

Anyway, this was a budget bin game with a well known character and had the original arcade games on it as well which is why so many people had it.

I absolutely love this game. One of the most unique games ever made.

The only thing that's remotely like it is Wonder Project J, but that game is fucking awful and not fun in any way.

That said, the Genesis port is absolutely horrendous, please for the love of god play the SNES version. Also it's really not much of a game, the real reason to play is to torture Pac-Man and other people in the world and see the amazing reactions.

The Genesis and SNES versions look nearly identical, and the music isn't particularly amazing on either platform. But I think Pac Man's voice sound effects are a lot funnier on Genesis. He sounds more like what I'd imagine an 80s video game character would sound like in that version.
