Yes it's good. Just be prepared for a lot of reading; it still has some nonlinearity though because you can choose where in the mansion to go and can also backtrack. Only the main route is legit. The other new+ game routes are just meme endings for fun.

I admit that it has gorgeous visuals and one of the finest OSTs to grace videogames. For example, this track is a masterpiece to me:

It's incoherent trash pulled from the arse of a Japanese person who only wrote it that way to sound cool. They didn't understand what they were writing about but to them it was foreign and therefore sounded cool. They have no real grasp on philosophy, it's random tropes just thrown together haphazardly. The game needed at least another 12 months of development to fix up the writing and actually finish disc 2 properly.
