Point and click adventure games. Hard mode: no LucasArts or Sierra.

not that I know of, Microprose wasn't known for their adventure games... there are three of them though, one I posted, Phantom of the Opera and Dragonsphere

psx (and possibly pc) point and click game made by one of the members of monty python. Good fun to play if you like that sort of humour but a relatively short game.

You guys ever played Night of the Hermit? It's a fan -made love letter to Lucasarts adventures, and it's really darn good, i'd almost say the best i've played so far. Graphics lifted straight out of the original games, puzzles aren't too much backwards logic and there's a ton of easter eggs.

Blazing Dragons is amazing! And yeah, it's pretty darn short and not exactly hard to figure out, but damn, is it a fun game.

I've posted it a couple of times but never had a reply, It's nice to see other people on here played it too as I think it's a relatively unheard of game.

This game came out in 1992.
In four years (2017), it'll have come out 25 years ago.

Is this a point and click adventure game? I guess it is. It has FMV too!

Famicom Detective Club II. Bending the rules a bit here but it has limited point and click

What does /vr/ think of this thing?
I think it's pretty good, the different worlds are pretty great, not knowing whats real and what's just some insane bullshit. But the actual interactive puzzles are fucking awful, especially that pipe dream bullshit and that giant stone ball puzzle.

Action sequences and some puzzles were silly, but nonetheless one of my faves.

Loved it to death. The narration and atmosphere draws you in so damn well. I honestly don't remember the puzzles being awful, but it's been a very long time since I've played it.

Maybe that should be my next replay when I get done with Fallout 2.

Well, this may be a good thread for a recommendation. I've been wanting a good point and click game that takes place in modern times/city backdrop, and isn't a comedy or cheesy murder mystery. Think Silent Hill story/atmosphere as a point and click, something depressing and hopeless. I've gone through a huge list of Adventure games and haven't really found what I'm looking for.
