So I was quite happily emulating RE3 and then this happened, Im entirely confused, Im pretty sure Carlos should be laying here but hes not, the cutscene doesnt play, I just walk in the room and nothing, I cant find out anything about this, All videos I watch on youtube shows him laying there and triggers a cutscene when you walk in the room, What could cause this? At first I had a euro version and thought maybe its the rom, so i got the US version, Same damn problem at the same damn spot.

There are a few different"routes" you can take through the game, and depending on the order in which you explore areas / do stuff, different events will happen. Maybe that's it?

Dude, you could play the PC version of this game. There is no need to emulate it on a PS1 emulator, when the PC version is far superior.

I thought that, But looking around I cant find any mention of a route where carlos isnt there, and as soon as I leave the room, Nemesis starts walking down the hall and I get one bombed game over every single time because there is no where to go and theres no way to get past him, He grabs you with choke and instakills you, Its supposed to play a cutscene where you jump out of the window and something else, but this get this.

Did you see Carlos go towards the Restaurant? He blows up some zombie's head off with his pistol. If you saw that, Carlos is at the Restaurant.

That's strange though, because if Carlos is at the Restaurant, there should be 3 zombies in the Newspaper.

Yeah I saw that, I blew nem up in the kitchen then ran out the back, Talked to carlos there and then headed towards the newspaper building, where this bug happens where theres no cutscene.

If you already blew up the kitchen with Carlos, he'll never be at the Newspaper. He only appears at one location.

Nemesis' grab isn't an instant kill. You just need to mash the buttons to get out of it.

Are you at Danger or something? Because Nemesis doesn't always go for the grab, and I think he gives you plenty of time to shake yourself off once he grabs you. He uses his right hand (I think), so you could try running towards his left arm to dodge the grab (even in a corridor).

His whole body blocks the corridor no matter which arm i run at he just swings infront and grabs me up, Slams me onto the ground and the second pickup instakills you, I spam the buttons like crazy but she doesnt get up/break free any faster.

What the hell, are you really playing RE3? There's no way he should be able to slam you into the ground by how early in the game this is. Does he have tentacle whips on his arm or something?

If you mash the buttons and get out of his grab, he just releases you.

Its okay, Ive done it now, It feels entirely like luck though, He kinda glitched and threw me backwards behind himself and I was able to get to the door. And yes, No matter how much I spammed the buttons once he picked me up he slams you straight down, then picks you up again, his hand fizzes purple and he jacks you up with a tentacle. Ive just finished playing REmake and then RE2 because nostalgia and didnt run into any problems like this. I genuinely thought the game was glitched.

Oh could be because I changed to the recommended settings for RE3 where everything is higher now whereas before i was playing with lower settings, I didnt think to increase the resolution to compensate.
