how does one go about making famicom repro carts? Also, can you stick the chip from an nes cart into famicom case and still have it run or is it more than just the shape that prevents them from interacting

I actually wanted to ask a similar question.

I was thinking about getting some sports games and an Eprom eraser and burner and burning translated roms and Bio Force Ape and stuff and selling them for cheap, but I don't know if a Famicom rom won't work on an NES or if it doesn't matter.

related ti OP's picture. Are the roller blades a reference as well?

The boards on NES games were shaped different than famicom boards, and NES games are 72 pin, while Famicom games are 60 pins if memory serves.

This is true. And it would be easier to just disable the chip on the NES.

I don't think so

You can't just jam the chips into another case. You can still get Famicon games to run, but you need some equipment and time.
