For instance, Tomba. I can't find that many games like it. Everyone's like "just pick a random metroidvania" but the mechanics of the game are sort of different.

Then there's Suikoden II. That game won't age for me. They could re-release it as is on Steam and I would buy it. Maybe it needs a couple of bug fixes, that's it.

Having recently downloaded a full NTSC set of PS1 games and tried various ones, I have to say the whole "PSX has aged" thing is a crock of shit.

Most games are just as good as they were back then. With the exception of a few that have framerate and load time issues.

Crash 2/3 still hold up as really good games with charming graphics.

Final Fantasy VIII has probably the techinally best graphics on the system.
