What are some games you initially disliked but upon giving it a second chance years later you ended up enjoying a whole lot?

Literally anything both third person and 3D. I was super narrow minded as a teenager and hated the Playstation/N64 generation for no good reason.

I suppose a good specific example would be Metal Gear Solid. Clunky controls and camera, you die easily in combat, and what the hell do you mean I'm not supposed to kill all the guys? I was a fool.

FF Tactics. Not sure why I wasn't into it at first, I gave it a shot and I guess I just got bored too quickly and moved on to some other games. Went back to it some time later and gave it more of a chance, and it became one of my favorite games of all time.

Ive been playing this non stop for like all of September. Did a normal run and a Hard run immediately after that and now im playing fan missions. Got it when it first came out on gog and couldnt get into it for some reason. I really love this game now.
