Nope got a set last week. Makes it look like a totally different system. They work well. No mods required. If you are in EU not sure. But in NTSC systems awesome.

Download and burn Codebreaker for DC. You can force VGA on games that do not support it, like Evolution.

On my USA version no. Just plugs into back and you're ready. I assume the PAL version would be thew same. DC was made for VGA output.
