Badly out of character for a silver surfer game. Replace silver surfer with a small, fragile spaceship and it would have been fine. Making a fuckhuge hitbox and turning silver surfer into "brittle glass man" just ruined it.

This was like making a DBZ game where goku couldn't fight and had to run away from enemies and pick up a key and move through a door to clear a level. It is jus ta sort-of recognizable character slapped into a different game they dusted off and tweaked some artwork.

It's funny because Legacy of Goku is pretty much that. Most of the game Goku fights snakes and wolves and picks up feathers so he can fly around for a few seconds. It's hard to make a compelling videogame about characters who can sneeze and blow up galaxies, you gotta make compromises with the lore somehow.

Not him but there really are not e-celebs of any real cultural relevance. Some can get millions of views but it is often the fault of autistic 12 year old cowadootie kids who watch the same video 600 times. "I like how he swears when he plays video games and speaks in a funny voice! Also he truly understands five nights at freddies!"

Take the 30 most "famous" e-celebs and have them walk through times square. People on the street would not even notice. People over the age of 14 are only vaguely aware of the big names like pewdiepie and they would not be able to point him out in a crowd.

People shit on Bubsy because he was an average game that got pushed incredibly hard as the greatest thing ever. He's the video game equivalent of that annoying kid in class who'd hang outside your circle of friends desperately trying to come up with something funny enough to be let in yet all he does is randomly shout stuff like "Waffle iron!".

Silver Surfer isn't really good... it's playable enough, and it definitely gets more crap than it deserves thanks to AVGN, but it's really not very good aside from the music.
